Vodafone is a leader in technology communications through mobile, fixed, broadband, and TV. We have extensive experience in connectivity, convergence, and the Internet of Things, as well as championing mobile financial services and digital transformation in emerging markets.

Since making our first mobile call in the UK on 1 January 1985, we have grown into an international business and one of the most valuable brands in the world. We have mobile operations in 24 countries, partner with mobile networks in 48 more, and provide fixed broadband in 19 markets.

As of 30 September 2019, we had approximately 625 million mobile customers, 27 million fixed broadband customers, and 22 million TV customers, including all the customers in Vodafone’s joint ventures and associates throughout the world.

Vodafone Oman was established in 2019 through a strategic partnership between the Oman Future Telecommunication Company and Vodafone International. Oman Future Telecommunication Company (Vodafone Oman) was granted class one license for establishing and operating public mobile telecommunications services in Sultanate of Oman in January 5th 2020.

Vodafone Oman seeks to employ the latest technologies and digital solutions in the world of telecommunications, aligning its efforts to contribute towards the achievement of the Oman Vision 2040 objectives. This is made possible by giving individuals, companies and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) the opportunity to foster innovation.
